The Opportunities
Project.

We connect people to partner job offerings and help them take the next step. Through community job events, résumé support, and in-person guidance, we bring opportunities closer to the people looking for them.

Thousands of connections, made person to person.

Through the Opportunities Project, VenturEd has connected people to more than 9,000 first-job opportunities. Employer relationships give us a starting point; conversations help someone understand a role, recognize their strengths, and prepare to approach it.

Most of that guidance happens in person. Our community-center approach brings career support closer to everyday life, with libraries and neighborhood spaces connecting people to advice, introductions, and a practical next step.

What happens at a job event?

Start by telling us what kind of work you’re looking for. We help you understand relevant openings, talk through the application, and identify what to do next. Bring a résumé if you have one; questions are a good place to start, too.
